Large-scale alliance-versus-alliance conflict events reward preparation that starts well before the event window opens — by the time it's live, most of the outcome is already determined by how ready your alliance actually is.
Preparation starts days in advance
Stockpiling relevant speedups, healing resources, and shields in the days leading up to a known conflict event puts you in a genuinely different position than scrambling once it's already underway. If your alliance announces an upcoming event, treat that announcement as your preparation deadline, not the event's start date.
Know your assigned role and stick to it
These events typically work best with clear role assignment — offense, defense, or logistics/support — communicated by alliance leadership ahead of time. Freelancing outside your assigned role, even with good intentions, often disrupts a coordinated plan more than it helps.
Protect key members and territory first
Not all targets are equal — defending your alliance's most developed members and most valuable territory should take priority over spreading defense evenly. Ask leadership if you're unsure what's considered highest priority.
Debrief afterward
Alliances that review what worked and what didn't after a conflict event consistently perform better in the next one — if your alliance doesn't already do this, suggesting a short after-action discussion is genuinely useful, low-cost input.
