How you communicate in alliance chat has a real, measurable effect on how quickly and effectively you get help — vague or buried requests get slower, worse responses than clear, specific ones.
Be specific about what you need
"Can someone help with my hero build?" gets a slower, vaguer response than "I'm choosing between two heroes for a rally-lead role, which pairing would you recommend?" Specificity makes it easy for an experienced member to give you a genuinely useful answer quickly.
Use the right channel for the request
If your alliance has separate channels (general chat, help requests, event coordination), using the correct one gets your request seen by the right people faster than posting everything in general chat where it can get lost.
Acknowledge help you receive
A quick thank-you when someone answers your question or sends help costs nothing and makes members more willing to help you again — alliance culture is built from many small interactions like this, not just formal rules.
Don't be afraid to ask "obvious" questions
Experienced players were new once too, and most active alliances would rather answer a basic question than watch a member struggle silently or make an avoidable mistake. Asking is almost always better than guessing.
