Separate "limited-time" from "actually valuable"
A pack being time-limited says nothing about whether its contents are genuinely good value — evaluate the actual contents against your account's real needs first, and treat the countdown timer as irrelevant to that judgment.
Ask what you'd think of it without the timer
A useful mental test: if this same offer had no expiration and was simply available indefinitely, would you still want it? If the answer is no, the timer is likely doing the persuading, not the actual value of the offer.
Recurring "limited-time" offers aren't really limited
Many offers that appear as urgent one-time deals actually recur on a regular rotation — if you've seen a similar offer before, it's reasonable to assume a similar one will return, which removes most of the real urgency.
