Beginner-focused reward funds and milestone bundles are consistently some of the best value available anywhere in the game, specifically because they're designed to help new accounts catch up quickly — but they're also time-limited in most cases, which is where players lose value without realizing it.
Check for a time limit immediately
Many new-player reward systems are only available for a fixed window after account creation, regardless of whether you've actually engaged with them yet. Find out early whether your growth rewards are time-limited so you're not caught missing them.
Complete milestones actively, don't wait passively
If growth fund rewards are tied to specific milestones (Furnace level, building count, research completed), actively working toward those milestones during the eligible window captures far more value than playing at your normal pace and hoping they line up.
Prioritize claiming over saving
Unlike some resources where holding onto them makes sense, growth fund rewards should generally be claimed the moment they're available — there's rarely a benefit to delaying a claim, and real risk if the window closes.
Use the boost while it's active
If early growth rewards include temporary boosts (production, research speed), timing your biggest pushes to overlap with that boosted window gets you more value than spreading the same effort out evenly across a longer period.
