Only trust official sources for codes
Legitimate codes are announced through the game's own official channels — official social media accounts, official community announcements, or the game's own in-app news. A code posted by a random account or an unfamiliar site claiming to be "exclusive" is a common red flag, not a bonus.
Redemption should never ask for your password
Legitimate code redemption happens through the game's own official redemption page or in-app menu, tied to your existing logged-in account — never through a third-party site that asks you to enter your game credentials to "activate" a code. That pattern is a common account-theft method dressed up as a giveaway.
Codes expire — check the date
Codes are almost always time-limited. If you find a code on an older post or a site that doesn't show a clear posting date, try it, but don't be surprised if it's expired — that's normal and not itself a sign of a scam.
Be skeptical of "guaranteed rare reward" codes
Scam listings often specifically advertise codes for unusually valuable or rare rewards to make the bait more attractive. Genuine codes exist, but treat any code promised to deliver something dramatically more valuable than typical code rewards with extra skepticism.
