Spotting Bots and Cheaters: What to Report and How

Most players will encounter behavior that looks suspicious at some point — unusually mechanical activity patterns, implausible growth rates, or other signs of automation or cheating. Knowing what's actually worth reporting helps keep the game fair without wasting effort on false alarms.

Look for patterns, not single data points

A single unusual observation isn't strong evidence on its own — genuinely suspicious behavior usually shows up as a consistent pattern over time (identical timing on actions down to the second, implausibly round-the-clock activity) rather than one strange moment.

Use official reporting channels, not public accusations

If you suspect a bot or cheater, reporting through the game's official support or report channels is far more effective than calling them out publicly in chat — public accusations rarely resolve anything and can create unnecessary conflict if you're wrong.

Don't assume strong accounts are automatically cheating

A very strong or fast-growing account isn't inherently evidence of cheating — some players are simply highly dedicated or knowledgeable. Reserve suspicion for genuinely implausible patterns, not just accounts stronger than your own.

Reporting protects the game you're invested in

An environment with less cheating benefits every legitimate player, including you — a quick, well-founded report through proper channels is a small contribution to a fairer game, not wasted effort even if you never see the outcome.
